I have been in the IT industry for 15 Years. During this time I have used both Apple and Microsoft OSs in a server & desktop environment. I have 10 years experience of linux in a server environment and have watched it mature. After the final insult from MS (Vista) I made the switch to Ubuntu Hardy Heron and have not looked back. I am at the point of deleting my XP partiton so I can use the space for something more worthwhile, this is about the best example of the confidence I have in Linux in general and Ubuntu as my chosen flavour.
Here I will record my tips for the new switcher in the hope of making your Ubuntu Linux experiance better.
